Commitment is The Necessary Ingredient for Manifestation

Are you ready for the upcoming Gemini Full Moon on Thursday, the 4th, that is deeply knocking at your door and asking what you are truly committed to?
Because without commitment, the manifestation never arrives.
This whole month-long Mercury retrograde has been one heck of a ride for me. Not only did I somehow break our front door lock to the point where the latch couldn’t turn, but I also, for the first time since the early 2000s, accidentally deleted my written work and lost my writing. This is literally a lesson I learned years ago—save your work—and I am completely diligent in this task. And yet, this week, I deleted it. I had to get angry, cry, blame, and go through that whole human cycle of just wtf to get to the other side.
I hope your Mercury retrograde has been teaching you lessons, too. And when you are in them, you get to ask: what am I meant to learn? What am I meant to do differently?
The Cosmos Compounds
The energy we pick up every single week from the cosmos compounds. This is why transformation and insight aren’t just from one moment of clarity, but rather through a different way of relating. So I want you to carry this Mercury retrograde with you as we approach this Gemini Full Moon that is literally saying: what are you actually committed to?
Because if you lack the commitment, you will forever lack the manifestation.
Gemini is made up of four crescents of spirit facing four directions away from each other. Gemini is notorious for ambivalence and not sticking with things. But when a Gemini does actually commit to these four levels of being: mind, body, soul, and spirit, they literally can move mountains. The magic is in the commitment, not the intention, where so many people think it lives.
What Commitment Feels Like and What It Is Not
When I first published Claiming Your Power Through Astrology, my editor told me that nearly 50% of authors who get book deals never actually finish writing their books. I didn’t believe her at first. I couldn’t imagine being a writer, getting the deal, and then not showing up to write the book. This was my biggest experience of the power of commitment, and trying to understand why I could do something someone else couldn't with equal talent and desire?
Commitment is something you can’t see, sometimes not even in yourself. It’s a dimension all its own, one that quietly powers you to your next level. Or trips you as you attempt to manifest.
Why Can't We Just Commit to The Goal?
You might think I was committed to writing a book, but so were they. They got a deal too, they pitched their written word just like me, and they wanted it. So what gives?
The only difference was that I was committed to being a writer. Not "writing a book."
I confess, there is no expression of mine anywhere that is happy unless I am writing every day. This is mind, body, soul, and spirit for me. The four-fold commitment that must be true for us to become.
But, boy, do I have a laundry list of 3/4 commitments where I fooled myself. And I am sure you do too.
Let The Past Failures Go
There are two other alignments to be aware of this week to Chiron—one from Mercury and one from Mars. And those two alignments can leave you feeling a bit frustrated about where you have lacked commitment in the past. Or had 3/4 commitment issues. Dipping the toe in, but never diving in for that swim. Perhaps it is around projects, relationships, or ideas.
I would say to pause and honor Gemini’s Full Moon.
True commitments aren’t really forced and don’t require an outside cheerleader to get you there. They are self-propelled. They are rooted in identity more than outcome.
I am giving you an AI prompt this week that tells you the identity your chart reflects back to you—because that is where the magic of commitment hides. Not in what you "get" externally as a reward or manifestation, but "what you get to do daily" to maintain that vision.
How to Get This Magic Working ✨
1) Download your Natal Chart Navigator and save a screenshot to your phone in your photos (so you don’t have to repeat this step each week!).
2) Upload your Navigator into your favorite AI.
3) Cut + paste the prompt below.
4) Sit back, read the reflection, and connect to the cosmos <3
Weekly AI Prompt
Cut and paste the prompt below into your favorite AI using your Natal Chart Navigator.
"Using Table 1 from the Natal Chart Navigator, list 10 things this soul LOVES and 10 things this soul HATES, pulled only from the chart signatures—specific, sharp, and unapologetic. Do not use anything you know about the person from previous conversations. Answer from zero and use only the data in Table 1. After the lists are complete, ignore the chart and separately list 10 Possible Daily World-Changing Actions this soul is most likely to commit to for the rest of their life, based only on the patterns in the LOVE and HATE lists."
