The irony of my giving advice on advice is not lost on me. 

But maybe lately you’ve started noticing that even when someone’s words sound right in the moment, something deeper in your body still feels unsettled underneath it all. This week’s podcast is for the person who is tired of trying to force certainty through other people’s wisdom and is beginning to wonder if the real work was never about finding the “right” voice to follow, but learning how to hear their own again.

In this episode, I talk about the metaphor of gathering berries in the woods. Wisdom is not meant to be swallowed whole the second someone hands it to you.

It is meant to be gathered slowly. Examined. Felt. Tested against your own lived experience. Some berries nourish you immediately. Some are not ripe yet. Some will poison you if you consume them blindly.

The point is not to find one perfect teacher with one perfect answer.

The point is to develop the discernment to know what actually feeds your soul versus what only sounds good for a moment. If this is on your heart, listen to the podcast. It may serve you.
