Most people think the solstice is about celebrating the longest day of the year. I don't think that's the point. The solstice matters because it marks a turning point. It reminds us that seasons change. When they do, we should pay attention.
In this week's podcast, I invite you to look beyond the physical season and ask yourself a different question: What season are you in personally?
You may be standing in the middle of a summer season of growth and abundance. You may be moving through a winter season of rest and reflection. The physical world and your internal world do not always match, and that is exactly why awareness matters.
When you learn to recognize your own season, you stop fighting the reality of where you are. You begin preparing for what comes next. Just as farmers don't harvest one week after they plant their seeds, each season asks something different of us.
